Hazelhurst + Remodel

The Hazelhurst project was a comprehensive whole house remodel and addition, designed to maximize the existing space while modernizing the home’s overall functionality. The home was gutted to the studs, giving our team a blank slate to work with. A major design decision involved incorporating the existing front porch, which had a foundation, into the home’s footprint. This not only expanded the square footage but also maintained the structural integrity of the house without requiring new groundwork. The result was a more spacious and functional layout that added two additional bedrooms and a luxurious master suite bathroom.

High-end finishes and attention to detail were a priority throughout the remodel. The kitchen and bathrooms were upgraded with top-of-the-line Kohler fixtures, quartz countertops, and custom cabinetry. One standout feature of the project was the installation of a custom accent wall, which served as a striking focal point in the main living area. These luxury elements enhanced both the aesthetics and functionality of the home, reflecting the client’s desire for a modern, high-quality living space.

The client’s primary request was to maximize the home’s space, and they were particularly impressed with how we achieved this by utilizing the existing porch.
